Eristoff Vodka: Virals from the land of the wolf

Last month pd3, together with Us London, engineered an extensive social media campaign to raise awareness of Eristoff Vodka.

For this campaign we filmed fake user-generated content – wolf sighting videos – and uploaded them onto YouTube. We used Facebook and Twitter to fool Londoners into believing that wolves were on the loose in London, having escaped from our fabricated Dakov Circus. The Dakov Circus had its very own microsite, Twitter account, multiple event listings (including Time Out), and a branded van that drove across London imitating the snarls and growls of caged wolves.

In just 3 weeks our videos have received over 200,000 views on YouTube. We’ve also reached over 900,000 people on Twitter… and counting.

See the wolf sightings and the reveal video here.

The British Curry Awards Sponsored by O2

In its second year as British Curry Awards sponsor, last month O2 was host to a celebrity studded event celebrating the best curry restaurants from all over the UK. With over 68,000 nominations, 1,500 attendees and widespread TV and press coverage, the awards are getting bigger and better every year.

Free £1 O2 calling cards were distributed to nominated restaurants and found their way into in each attendee’s goodie bag. O2 also sponsored and presented the award for the best new curry restaurant in the UK alongside ex-England goalkeeper David Seaman and Saturday Kitchen host James Martin.

O2 Tinie Tempah: Class photo

pd3 were proud to be part of a UK first at The O2 in early November – the UK’s highest resolution image. The Tinie Tempah Class Photo is a 360 degree, super high resolution 10 billion pixel image that was captured on The O2 stage by technology geniuses SEI to create an enormous interactive photo, capturing all 15,000 fans in the arena. Fans could then visit a bespoke, pd3-designed microsite and tag themselves from any location.

If you were there, you can tag yourself right now.
